Serving the finest cuts of meat
People often ask, “What’s the best cut of beef?”. The answer to this question depends on the grade of beef, section of the cow and preparation. Certain cooking methods and seasonings better showcase the flavor of the specific cuts. We grill our steaks over an open flame not on a flat iron grill. Here's what we feature: Filet Mignon. The most tender cut of beef, it is lean and has a relatively subtle flavor compared to other beef cuts.
The New York Strip: The Yankee, a classic steakhouse cut: tender, flavorful and juicy.
The Rib Eye: Rich and buttery, with greater marbling than most cuts. Vic's steaks need no steak sauce, the flavor of our beef needs no more than a simple seasoning of salt and pepper.
Vic brings a Southern twist to the traditional steakhouse. The restaurant opened in July 2016 and has been remodeled and furnished with light wooden walls, adding cozy western decore in main dining room. Hand crafted wood booths and tables in the second dining room. The restaurant can accomodate up to 102 patrons in the back dining room alone, which makes it a great gathering place for Birthday and Anniversary celebrations. There is also a private dining room—which will seat up to 27 people in the bar area while the main dining room seats 46.
Conveniently located were the EL Chilar Mexican Restaurant was located. It is operated by the same man whom tended those who came in through those doors with loving care.

Vic's restaurant career started at the age of 27 managing a steakhouse called Hollywood
Prime in a 5 star resort called The Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood Beach Florida.
But earlier in life. Maybe as early as 6 years of age the love of taking care of people unfolded. It began in my home town, in Ocala Florida. My uncle owned a small American restaurant which only opened for breakfast and lunch. I saw how he loved what he did and I looked up to him. After moving to Miami with my Mom, I began dreaming and telling people of someday owning my own restaurant. I seen my Family manage restaurants and enjoy cooking. So over the years it became my passion.
After managing 4 restaurants later in life and several other job experiences (ranging from real estate, loan officer then mortgage broker) I decided to go into a traveling
ministry, which led me to Wedowee and into managing two successful restaurants.
A passion for the food and beverage industry quickly unfolded. And an ongoing conversation with God finally led into this blessing by Him. An opportunity presented itself in December of 2015 for my dream to become a reality. Vic's Steakhouse opened its doors to the public in July 2016 and has proudly been serving quality, fresh food to the locals of Wedowee and tourists from all over the world ever since.

Please allow me to introduce you to Wedowee's Steakhouse – a dining experience unlike any other in Town. Located on 43 Pam Street, Vic's Steakhouse offers a twist on the classic
American steakhouse. Along with the traditional steaks and burgers, diners can experience
several dishes that reflect the owner Victor Rodriguez' Floridian upbringing and Dominican heritage. You can have a delectable crab stuffed Flounder, Seafood stuffed Salmon or move on to any of the towns favorite. The classic Filet Mignon, Rib eye or New York Strip. Looking for something different? Maybe not fish, steak or shrimp. We have a spinach, aged Cheddar Cheese, Chicken Burger served with fresh cut fries.
We carry a Warm Greek Salad made with Romaine lettuce, Arugula, Spinach, Spanish Olives, Fetta Cheese and Cucumber. If a traditional burger is more your style we have fresh made buns and hand made ground chuck burgers, fish and fries and shrimp scampi pasta dishes. The simple yet elegant menu is further enhanced by the atmosphere – always inviting, never pretentious or stuffy. Vic's uses soft, clean hues of beige and brown complemented by western decor provided by Nana's Gift Barn. Lisa and Rachel graciously gave it that Western look I was going for. Vic's Steakhouse is a comfy place to come relax and eat. Most importantly, dining at Vic's does not have to be reserved for special occasions only. With low to Mid-range prices combined with spacious dining area makes the restaurant accessible to everyone that wants to celebrate any occassion.
